My first ever tutorial! This is a Paint Tool SAI tutorial of how I usually shade hair.

I'm not particularly good, but I suppose I could always help someone.

Since I'm used to Paint Tool SAI and my GIMP lags like crazy, it should explain the noobishness of my tutorial formatting. Sadly, you can't type text in SAI (or if you can, I haven't noticed).

Do you think you would be able to make one for shading black hair? Or anything in general, because I have these pants I'm drawing, and they look all weird because they're black..

Thank you so much.It's been hard even with tutorials because of the program I have. But I want to do my best! If you would be willing, I want to be your student! I'll devote all of my free time for when you're available! I've been drawing since I was a little girl, and I've always been told I have a talent, but I honestly don't see it. They say I have potential, and I think you would be the person to help me! But I don't want to pressure you, so you have no obligation to say yes. I'm going to shut up now because this is getting really long... Heh...

I'm sorry but I'm only a hobbyist artist.

I'm honoured that you find me someone worthy of learning from, but if you check out my gallery, most of my works are rather poor. I'm definitely not at a level where I can teach anyone. You can send some work to me for some basic critique and suggestions but that's really all.
